Jan 18&20 Simon was invited to participate in a Super Moto class with Mike Metzger at Grange Motor Circuit in Apple Valley. Simon has a KTM 50 Super Moto Bike from 3Bros Racing, And this is the first time he has had it on a Track. He did real well in his first training.

Jan 26&27 James and 3 Bros Racing entered Simon in the Mini Moto class. Weather was wet and cold, during practice Simon slid it down a couple times, And so did a lot of others. Track was a little dryer during his first moto and he calmed down and took a first Place. Did the same on the Main, And came home with the GOLD MEDAL This was just a small race his others will be tougher during the year. But he had Fun, Got some racing experience, And said he wants to Race More.  SO WE WILL SEE. Also Simon and his Gang want to Thank John and Frank Currie for enduring the weather to come out for Simons first Super Moto Race, "Brandon Currie the 2007 Super Moto Champ is one of Simons Hero's.

Well Simon has the SuperMoto bug real bad, Wanted to go Racing. So we got him entered to do his second Supermoto Race.

3Bros tuned his bike and off we went, Simon did real well and came home with his second medal.

Hes also getting the reputation for getting the hole shot, After his main he still wanted to race so the boys in the 125 class said Simon could run with them, Simon and his 50 vs 125s. Well of course they snuffed him BUT on the start he shot out of the gate like a bullet, Got the hole shot by 6 bike lenghts. Thats why hes getting the handle Hole Shot. Overall he had a great weekend was able to get  more experiance from  watching and talking to the other riders.

Simon was ready to go, Did real well came home with his 3rd Medal.  The race was Simon and his 50  and a young man and his 65. Both came out of the start together,the 65 took the lead an Simon was on his tail, 65 could pull Simon on the strights but on the curves and the dirt Simon would pull up to him and try a pass, Young man on the 65 was good BUT Simon took him on the white flag lap and helt on till the Checkered. One of the best races of the week end. Simons comment HES ready for Calif. Speedway next month.

Simon has a new teammate Blake vigne, And this kid is hot, 14 yrs old and Rides a ktm 85.
